Nordic 5 1/4 Inch Whirly Jet 100189 VSR w/ Adapter Ring

Original gray Nordic Hot Tub replacement 5 1/4 inch Whirly jet insert  - VSR style model 100189.

This is the large jet found in select model Crown II and other model hot tubs.

Diameter measurement is just over 5 inches across the front of this jet insert.

Tech Tip:

This replacement jet insert VSR style needs an adapter ring.  Old style jets had tabs that would break off.   You can find the adapter ring here:  36-5806WHT

This jet replacement has an adapter ring that first needs to be glued in, so you will need to lower the water level and glue in the adapter ring.

First note the location of Slot A and Slot B.  The Tab A or tab on the adapter ring must slide into Slot A on the jet insert.

The ring slides in with tab facing up with glue applied to outside of ring.

When installing the jet face (after adapter ring has been glued into place and PVC glue is dry), tab B must line up with Slot B.    Slide the face into the jet body and twist counterclockwise to lock.Note: Glue should be allowed to completely dry before refilling or installing the jet face.
