Many pool and spa pump motors are connected by 4 thru-bolts, but some have flange connections.

You will need to know (from existing pump label)

  • Frame size (48 or 56 frame)
  • Motor Voltage (120v or 230v)
  • Horsepower rating (3/4hp,1hp,1 1/2hp,2hp,3hp,4hp, 41/2hp, 5hp and Roy-Hp)
  • Pump Mounting: Thru-Bolt Type like most Aquaflo, Waterway pumps (or flange, other..)
  • Speeds - Most spa pump motors are single phase: 1 or 2 speed
