Get FREE SHIPPING on hot tubs and many spa parts anywhere in the continental United States. Orders over $95 (before shipping and tax) ship free anywhere in the continental U.S.A. - even those heavy hot tubs! Free shipping applies only to merchandise after any discounts/coupons and before tax. With free shipping, we will always choose the best (fastest/economical) shipping method for your location and products ordered. For delivery, you should assume standard shipping times of 4-7 business days. Please provide an address that accepts deliveries from USPS, UPS and Fedex for best results. Please note that chemicals (bromine, chlorine, corrosive chemicals, etc.) can only be shipped via ground freight.

Free shipping is often completed by USPS Post Office Service.  If the shipping address provided at time of order cannot accept USPS postal service deliveries, a notification must be made in the Order Notes at time of order indicating the address cannot accept USPS deliveries, or the appropriate shipping service (Fedex, UPS, other) needs to be selected at checkout as the shipping method to use to ship an order.  Returned packages as a result of USPS post office not being able to deliver to a provided shipping address will incur reshipment charges by an alternate carrier such as Fedex or UPS ground.

If you need your items quicker, we also have 3-4 day or 2-3 day express delivery available at an additional cost. Cost will vary based on your location, weight/size of goods and the carrier. Lead Times for Shipping

We ship most items out within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). Special order items, backordered items or hard to find items will take longer to ship. Tracking for all items is usually updated within 24 hours of shipment, with the exception of some direct-from-manufacturer items. Shipping times will vary based on the shipping method you selected and your U.S. location.

Bulky Items: Hot tubs/ Saunas/Hot tub covers:

Most spas, saunas, bulky items and hot tub covers ship by common carrier freight.  Custom made products (hot tubs, hot tub covers) generally take about 3 weeks to produce and up to 7 days shipping time. We have a limited number of ready-made covers in stock and they leave our warehouse within 24 hours. The freight carrier will contact you to arrange delivery. We will forward the freight carrier information to you and you can make arrangements directly if you do not hear from them. Spas and saunas are delivered to your driveway, however you will need to rustle up a few hands to get the item placed in its final location. Deliveries are made to curbside for residential locations and the receiving area or dock at a business location. Not all freight carriers have trucks with lift gates so you may need to prepare for this event/check with freight forwarder when they contact you. Any additional charges negotiated between customer and carrier for moving the cover/hot tub/sauna beyond curbside delivery are the customer's responsibility. 

There are a limited number quick ship spa models available for shipment within 1-3 days – contact us for current inventory. Most hot tubs are custom made to order and take about 3 weeks to build (or up to 4 weeks in peak season). Some spas such as Dream Star and Star Gazer are "Quick Ship" models that are in stock most of the time and ship out in a few days.  Any spa made from a custom color will take about 3-4 weeks to build.  Most hot tub orders ship within 21 business days, except during peak season or if there are a lot of custom options. Delivery requests to remote areas may incur additional shipping cost depending on the freight forwarder.  In this case, you will be notified prior to the start of production and will have the option to cancel your order for a full refund, or make up the difference of the actual quoted freight cost.

Split Shipments

We may ship your order in multiple packages. Large or bulky items may be shipped separately from filters, chemicals, etc. Rest assured that you still receive free shipping even if your order is delivered in 2 or more packages. Our splitting shipments never result in additional shipping charges for you. For all shipments, we will choose the best method to get the products from our warehouses to your door as quickly and economically as possible

Order Tracking:

You will receive an email when your order is placed and a second email when your order is shipped. The second email will contain the tracking number and carrier information.   If you have created an account (before you submitted your order) you can also log in to your account to get the tracking information. You can put your tracking number in the carrier’s system to get the current status:

Please note that the shipping carriers consider the first business day as the day after they receive the product for shipping. If you order on a Tuesday and we get the package to the courier on the Tuesday, they will consider the Wednesday the first business day.

Please enter your tracking number into the carrier’s system to see when your package will arrive.  If a package goes missing or is not delivered, please contact us for next steps/a replacement.  If the package is confirmed as delivered by the carrier, we will consider it so.   We are not responsible for porch pirates or packages that go missing after delivery.  If you are missing a package that says delivered, please contact your local carrier as they will have more information than we do.

Note (including Canada shipments):  On Fedex Priority/Express, the brokerage and processing fees are included in the shipping price.  On ground shipments, Fedex will charge a clearance entry fee on shipments valued at over $40 US.  For shipments costing less than $40, this is a cost-effective shipping method. For higher priced orders, the priority shipment often works out to be more economical.


Items Damaged in Shipping

When you receive a package, especially a large item like a spa or hot tub cover, we advise you to have someone check the delivery before signing. Check the packaging thoroughly and refuse the shipment if it is visibly damaged. If you allow the freight company to deliver without inspecting or signing for the product, they will not accept later claims of damage (or loss). Contact Hot Tub Outpost customer service if you receive/refuse delivery on a package that is damaged. Take photos of the damage to send to us for further processing and resolution. Photos can be sent to We will need photos for any shipping damage claims so please take these before you discard any packing materials or remove the contents from the box.

Please note, if USPS cannot deliver to your particular location, you must put an order comment notifying us that we should not ship by USPS.

Cover Shipping Note - Inspect cover packaging for damage before signing delivery receipt: 
It is customer's responsibility to inspect cover at delivery and to note any shipping damage to the driver and on the form when signing for delivery.  If damage is severe, delivery can be refused.   Once a cover is delivered, customer accepts responsibility for the condition of the cover.  If freight damage must later be claimed, customer will need to contact and initiate any delayed claims with the freight forwarder directly.   

Sales Tax Policy
shipping warehouse hot tub partsSales tax of 8.25% is charged to all residents of Texas.  Use tax may be the responsibility of the purchaser depending on state of residence.  We do not collect sales tax or impose an internet sales tax on any international sales or sales to locations outside of the state of Texas as a small supplier but may impose such taxes in the near future pending new internet legislation and state by state updated regulations pertaining to internet sales.  Internet laws with respect to taxation of purchases may change in the future depending on new regulations.

Customers should check with their own states for requirements to remit sales tax on internet purchases. For example: sales or use tax could be due and Pennsylvania requires consumers to remit any owed use tax.


International Shipping

Enter your state/country/zip and your options will appear. You will also see options at checkout. First class shipping is generally available for shipments weighing 4 lbs or less. Express or priority express options are available at a higher cost, but they offer faster shipping and up to $200 insurance for merchandise loss, damage, or missing contents. Please contact us for shipping large orders to determine size and weight restrictions and to search for the best shipping options.   You can send a list of the parts and address/contact info to and we can contact you with a custom shipping quote.

We do not charge any documentation fees or US taxes on foreign bound orders. Customers are responsible for taxes or fees assessed by the local authorities in their country. Taxes and fees will vary from country to country and are the responsibility of the purchaser. You are responsible for picking up/paying any fees in a timely manner so the package is not considered abandoned and returned to sender. Additional postage will result for returned packaged that we must reship. Almost all of our products are made in the USA (some filters are made in China). It is the purchasers responsibility to pay any duty should some be assessed. There is no duty on American goods shipped to Canada, Mexico and many other countries.

Please note that certain items are prohibited to ship internationally, including chemicals that require an ORM-D label (like chlorine, bromine, shock treatments, filter clean, etc.). If you add any of these products to your order, they will be refunded and you will be contacted.

Shipping to Canada

HST/GST will apply to orders but there is no duty on American made goods. You will be responsible for the 5% GST on imported items unless they are worth $20 Canadian or less. Certain provinces may add their provincial sales tax as well.   Shipping rates will depend on the destination, size and weight of the parcel.   First class parcel rates generally only apply to packages weighing 4lbs or less. Priority and priority express shipping is available at higher costs and automatically comes with up to $200 insurance for merchandise for loss or damage.   Priority delivery is generally 6-10 days and priority express is generally 3-5 business days.  We cannot ship ORM-D labeled chemicals across the border.

Shipping Notes:

You have the option of choosing the level of delivery service when checking out. We suggest you choose a faster shipping method if you need the part quickly.   If you choose, standard service, your package will most likely be shipped via USPS. Priority service mail will be shipped via UPS, Fedex or USPS priority, all of which have basic insurance included. Please include a shipping address that accepts both USPS and ground delivery. Free shipping is at our discretion and will vary based on cost of items, size and distance.  Allow 5-7 days for free shipping. All delivery time estimates are business days. No deliveries are made on Sundays or holidays. Express shipping applies only to the method of shipping, not the expedition of the order. We are not responsible for express order shipping delays due to bad weather, holidays, mechanical failures, traffic conditions or acts of God. Orders placed after 4pm central time will be processed with the next day’s orders. Expedited shipping is not available on all products (e.g. chemicals cannot be shipped by air).

Missing Mail

Once your package is shipped, we send you an email confirmation with tracking number. We suggest you track the package and note the expected arrival date. Should your package not arrive as expected, recheck the current tracking status online. We do not have any additional information above what you would see on the carrier’s website. If your package stalls in transit or is not delivered within the expected time, we can put a trace/submit a claim as follows:

UPS – we can initiate a missing package request as soon as tracking stops/fails. We usually have a resolution within 48 hours.

USPS – the US post office considers mail missing as follows:

For First Class or Priority Mail service, a search request can only be submitted after seven days have passed since the package was mailed. For ground or parcel select service, you must allow 8 days for the package to arrive. A search request for missing mail can only be placed after 14 or more days have passed since the item was mailed.

Once a missing mail search request is initiated, we find that most packages are found and delivered within a couple of days. Should this not be the case, we will reship your items and file an insurance claim where applicable. We regularly track missing items and will be notified if the mail piece is found. Should the lost mail be recovered and eventually delivered, you will be required to notify us so we can have the package returned to our warehouse. If you receive 2 shipments (the replacement shipment and the recovered shipment) and do not return one, you will be responsible for the cost of the second shipment.

If your order tracking shows the package has been delivered, but you have not received it, then you will have to contact your local carrier/post office. Many times the item is at the post office or they can review the delivery truck logs/videos to find your package. Items that are marked as delivered cannot be considered missing packages.

Missing International Packages

While we ship all packages with tracking, many shipments are un-trackable once they leave the US. We have no control over how long a package takes to clear customs. Sometimes it is a matter of hours but it can take a week or longer. Updates will generally only show when the package leaves the US/arrives in host country and then no information is given until the package arrives at the final destination. Should a package go missing, we can only request tracking through the US post office/UPS/Fedex. You will need to contact your shipper with the tracking to try and locate a missing package within your country. The carrier station will generally keep the package for at least a week and usually attempt a second or third delivery. Some countries do not have very good infrastructure for tracking and updating packages. Hot Tub Outpost is not responsible for the package once it leaves the USA.

We do not charge any taxes or processing fees in the US for foreign shipments. Taxes, VAT, or duty may be assessed by the international officials and any monies due are the responsibility of the recipient. If payment is due, it will be required at time of delivery by the courier. They will not leave packages without payment. We recommend you track your package so you know when it is expected to be delivered. The local service may try to reach you if any taxes or fees are payable before they will release a shipment. Some carriers may leave a note saying they tried to deliver the package and then it is up to you to follow up. If a package is returned to us because the package was not picked up, taxes/fees were not paid or the address was incorrect, then additional postage will be required for us to reship. We recommend shipping priority which includes some insurance. Should you decide to cancel the order once it is returned to us, the package will be assessed a 15% restocking fee and outbound shipping will not be refunded.
