This 5HP 56 frame Executive pump has the larger 2 1/2 inch intake.

This is the original motor and wet end.   Ships as a complete pump with MJJ cord (48"), a 2 inch union with o-ring and a 2 1/2 x 2" union.

We also offer 2 1/2 x 2" union 400-5990 and plain 2"x2" unions 42-0009 as needed since one side of this pump is for 2 inch plumbing connection (3 1/16" across pump threads) and the other side is the larger 2 1/2 inch plumbing connection (3 7/16" across pump threads).  The larger 2 1/2 inch connection can either connect to 2 1/2 inch id hose/pipe or be reduced to 2 inch plumbing as needed with the correct union.
