D1 Temp Sensor 01560-79YU 3/8 Inch Bulb YT and YE Series

01560-79YU Temperature sensor with 3/8 Inch Bulb -  Used in YT and YE Gecko hot tub controls from 2015-2020.

Temperature Sensor for Y Pack. Used on Bay Series Spas, Reflections and @Home Spas 2015+

This temperature sensor used in many different brand hot tubs including Artesian Spas and others that use a Gecko control system.

Most installations needing this smaller connector sensor type are for spas after 2014 model years.

Can this item also replace the older sensors 01560-79/34-020 with larger plugs?

This model sensor can also be used with a field modification to replace 01560-79/34-0203d but that requires splicing wires per D1 bulletin.

If the larger plug type is needed, it is better to order the sensor  34-0203D = 01560-79 instead of having to remove the small connector on this 01560-79YU sensor and splice the wires using Waterproof Gel-filled Orange clear Button Telephone wire connectors (UY2/K2) and a crimping tool or mechanical pliers.
