Pleat Count
There are many reasons for choosing both a 25 sq. ft. and a 50 sq. ft. filter when manufacturing a hot tub. The 50 sq. ft. filter has twice as many pleats, but the 25 sq. ft. filter not only costs less but also filters the water without any issue.

Replace the Filter Annually
Most hot tub manufacturers including QCA Spas, recommend that you change the filter annually and clean it regularly.
