This ML200 hot tub mini oval control panel is used as a main control panel with Balboa EL 2000 and EL 1000 systems.

It can also be used as only a remote control for EL 8000 and EL 5000 systems, but not as the main panel for those.

Includes 7 ft. long cord with Molex plug.

Using the Control Panel

Pressing the Temp button once displays the set temperature.  If you want to change the temperature, press the button a second time before the LCD stops flashing.  Each press of the Temp button will raise or lower the temperature.  If you want to go the other way, release the pad and let the display go back to showing the current water temperature, then press the pad to display set temp again and then once more to be able to adjust the temperature in the opposite direction.  This is a dual up/down functionality in one button.

You can also switch between economy (Ecn), standard (Std) and sleep (Slp) modes by pressing the TEMP and then LIGHT button - that gets you into programming mode.  Then press TEMP to cycle through to the desired mode. (LCD flashes until confirmed) - so press LIGHT to confirm once you are at the correct setting.  Standard heats whenever the spa needs it, Economy only heats during the filter times and Sleep, well that one only heats the spa within 20 degrees of the set temperature and only during the filter cycles - not an ideal mode for places that may experience freezing weather.

Oh, and there is a fourth mode called SE - that one is Standard in Economy - very confusing - that works like standard mode, but then goes back to economy mode after 1 hour.  During that time, pressing Temp followed by Light will revert the mode to Economy right away.   Don't worry, Roy the horse got confused about that as well, so best to just ignore it and keep the spa in standard mode.

Speaking of fancy modes buried inside this innocuous little 4-button control - there is also a standby mode to turn things off while chaning a filter if you don't want to power down the spa. This is accessed by the button presses: TEMP - AUX - that turns off all spa functions temporarily. Nice to know in case you do that accidentally.  Some overlays will have a Jets or Blower button instead of the Aux button showing.
Press any other button to exit.

Temperature can be set from 80 to 104 degrees.

Enjoy your ML200 Balboa spa control panel.
