Coast Spas Gecko to Balboa Conversion Kit Control System

DISCONTINUED -Coast Spas recommended Gecko to Balboa conversion retrofit kit to replace the complete spa pack and topside control of outdated Gecko control systems used in older Coast Spas.

Factory has discontinued this retrofit kit GECKO TO BALBOA  so contact us for assistance in replacing the control system.

The main components that are in the retrofit kit include the still-available control panel CP600 and there is a BP2000 pack 56689-04 3 pump available.

Plumbing parts are available depending on which one(s) would be needed:

2” union with o-ring O43

2” 90° Elbow

2 pieces of 2.5 feet of 2” flex pipe

2.5”x2” reducer

2.5” coupler

2 inch heater gaskets x2

Many of the cords are no longer available - rewire equipment to AMP cords as needed that would interface with BP2000 Balboa spa pack.

Relays are still available - 1 relay needed per 7HP Monster Flow pump.  No relays are needed for standard 4HP-5HP 2-speed pumps.

This retrofit kit includes the Advanced Spa Control System spa pack with 5.5kW heater, the control panel with overlay and various plumbing parts and cables as needed to retrofit outdated systems.

This is the factory recommended replacement kit for discontinued circuit boards and systems.

This is a new style BP Series Balboa spa pack made for use in Coast Spas to retrofit older Gecko control systems.

 
BP Series Coast Spa Pack with 5.5kW Heater

Kit comes with original CP600 Coast Spa control panel included.

Topside has a BP style plug for this spa pack.

Control system options programmed per Coast Spa specifications at the time of manufacturing related to menu structure, functions and compatibility with older equipment used with the old style Gecko packs.

Kit also includes select plumbing parts to assist with any plumbing modifications as pictured.

Includes installation guide - installer should be qualified to work with electricity and install the spa pack.

If your spa has the 7HP pumps, you would also need relay part 56447 , 1 relay for each 7HP pump in the spa.  Relays are only required for the 7.0HP or the 7.1 HP pumps. External relay not required for 4HP or 5HP pumps.
