LA Spas Filter Bag Sock FD-51500-LA 5FD-51500 Elite FD-51107

LA Spas filter sock or filter bag for use with FD-51320 filter basket that has the 3" male threaded end.

The filter sock slips over the reusable basket for filtration of some LA Spa models.  There is only 1 filter sock for all models if the spa has the sock type filtration system.

Note that some LA Spas use complete filter cartridges instead of the basket-sock combination.

LA Spa Filter Bag is 8 5/8" high.  Front part folds inside to create the pouch.

Also replaces filter bag FD-51107 and 5FD-51500.  Filter bag used in select LA Spas and Maax Elite spas as well as by other hot tub brands. Covers up to maximum filter length of 8 5/8" long.

Cleaning Instructions

The manufacturer recommends washing off the filter sock every 2 weeks.  Turn spa off before removing or cleaning filter bags.

According to the LA Spas manual,
"...Filter bags should be cleaned every two weeks to avoid a decrease in jet performance. On initial start-up, the filters should be cleaned every other day for the first two weeks of
operation. To clean the filter bags, simply place them into the washing machine on a gentle cycle. Water temperature selection should be warm wash. Clean using ¼ cup of bleach, and ½ capful of liquid
detergent. Do not machine dry."

Model FD-51500-LA replaces FD-51107 and FD-51500.
