Typically Saratoga spas include the filter adapter that is supposed to stay in the filter housing and then the filter without bottom threads is used - if using an adapter, see the filter 54458 without bottom threads that fits with the adapter already in the spa.

Alternatively, see the Saratoga Spa filter cartridge 74458 that works with the adapter (blue mpt threads 74550) or there are the yellow adapters ACME type 74451.

The blue adapter used with factory PSG31 filter without threads on bottom is 1 1/2" mpt like this one, so if the adapter is missing can use 74458  and adapter 74550 in place of this filter PSG31P4-M with bottom threads.

 Pleatco PSG31P4-M Microban antimicrobial spa filter type is used in Saratoga Spas and other brand hot tubs.  The filter media is made from point bonded 3oz. Microban material.

The dimensions of this 31 sq.ft. spa filter are:

• Diameter: 4-3/4"
• Length: 17-1/2"
• Top: Handle
• Bottom: 1-1/2" Mpt  (1 7/8: outer diameter measurement across the fine threads)
• Material Area:  31 sq.ft.

Note these have the bottom threads so if there is a filter adapter in the housing, it would need to be removed.
