VS501 Control System Evolution Costco 4kW 54379-03

Replacement Balboa spa pack for Evolution spas sold at Costco Wholesale, Saratoga Spas VS501Z-4k and other brand hot tubs that use the 54379-xx spa packs.

Ships as the latest, newest current Balboa model replacement VS501Z spa pack with 4kw heater. Replaces 54379, 54379-01, 54379-02, 54379-03 and other versions.

Use existing cords or purchase cords separately as needed.

Pack can operate 2 pumps or 1 pump and 1 blower.

Control Panel Sold Separately

Works with VL401 LCD Lite Duplex control panel (54094) or VL403 LED Lite Duplex control panel (51676-01) sold separately. 

Also can work with VL200 mini bath co0ntrol panel 52144.

System model VSP-VS501Z is the complete spa pack including 4kw heater and is the latest spa pack version by Balboa.

Technical Details:

Requires 120v or 240v power. Heater wattage is rated at 240v.  The heater is about a 1kw heater when operated at 120v.

Setup 1 (As Manufactured)

• 120 volt 2-speed Pump 1
• 120 volt Blower
• 120 volt Ozonator (note that ozone and any circ pump must be the same voltage)
• 12 volt Spa Light
• 120 volt AV (Audio)
• 240V 4kW heater (1kw at 120v)

Duplex main panel plugs right into the circuit board.

• 240 volt Ozonator (note that ozone and any circ pump must be the same voltage)
• 12 volt Spa Light
• 240 volt AV (Audio)

This VS500Z/VS501Z circuit board delivers the preset voltage (120v or 240v) to the on-board ozonator connection (J29).  The voltage to the ozone connector can be changed if required by adjusting W2.
